A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY AMENDMENTS TO THE TREATY FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PREFERE NTIAL TRADE AREA FOR EASTERN AND SOUTHERN AFRICAN STATES
WHEREAS Ethiopia is a party to the Treaty for the Establishment of the Preferntial Trade Area for Eastern and Southern Africa States ;
WHEREAS the Authority of the Preferential Trade Area has adopted certain amendements to the Treaty in December 1988, December 1989 and November 1990 ;
WHEREAS the Council of Representatives of the Transi tional Government of Ethiopia has ratified the said amend ments ;
NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 9 (d) and (h) of the Transitional Period Charter, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:

1. Short Title
This Proclamation may be cited as the " Amendments to the Treaty for the Establishment of the Preferential Trade Area for Eastern and Southern Africa States Ratification Proclamation No. 89/1994. "
